Mr. Stowlicker (28 years old) lives a life of pragmatic predictability. By orchestrating his environment, maintaining a repetitive daily routine, and avoiding physical and emotional contact, he glides through each day as man vacant of individuality. His goldfish is his only true friend.
This ‘lifeless’ existence suddenly comes under threat, and his control over reality crumbles, as simple plastic balls begin to appear in the oddest of places. They progressively disrupt his carefully controlled existence, ultimately forcing him to face an incident in the past that has stunted his growth as an individual from that point in time.
